Esther 8:1-17
The Old Testament Book of Esther is one of the most unique books in Scripture. It is one of only two books named after a woman, it provides a detailed account of life in a pagan culture, and it never directly mentions God by name. However, this biblical narrative provides truths and insights focused on the sovereignty and providence of God that can be applied in our everyday lives. As we study the Book of Esther, pray that the Lord will reveal how the sovereign and providental Gospel of Jesus can be utilized in your ilife "for such a time as this."
